Flutina Keyboard question
« on: September 21, 2017, 07:41:09 PM »

Hi,
I am interested in making a reproduction Flutina, much like in the attached picture for those not familiar with this instrument.  A detail I am not sure about, and not evident from the many pictures on the web, is the inner workings for the keyboard, particularly when it comes to the keys that operate the valves on the back side of the keyboard.  I included a rough schematic of how I think it works, where the key lever for the back valves rotates from the top end of the keyboard rather than the bottom to achieve a lifting action of the valve.  Or is there some other mechanism?  If someone has a picture(s) of disassembled flutina keyboard to share, that would be most instructive.

Thanks,  Don
