Pokerwork grill
« on: August 01, 2009, 02:08:46 PM »

I just recently purchased a Hohner pokerwork and the grill is alittle dirty looking. was wondering where i can buy a replacment for it. I also like the idea of making my Erica alittle quiter with the methods i read in a topic awile backbut i dont think i'm capable of doing it my self. Sucks that you guys are so far away and not in New York.

Contact Charlie Marshall - here he lists as stock a wide range of Hohner Grills etc. Don't know if he's got what you want but always worth asking him.

At risk of the obvious, on an Erica you can just play softer.  It's great practice playing softly, getting a feel for what the reeds "need" to play.
