Models with Binci reeds
« on: October 18, 2017, 04:22:10 PM »

Is anyone aware of any models that come with Binci reeds as standard other than the DB Oakwood Binci II or III?

Giustozzi, http://www.giustozzi.it/ws/index.php?route=product/category&path=24, All models can be spec'ed  with Binci reeds on order, my Irish 3 voice, Mod 118, has just that!, Giampiero is a pleasure to deal with and his wife speaks very good English if your worried!, my box was custom made to my exact requirement, 6th button start!, extra low notes and accidentals, i even sent him soundclips of from my piano to make sure he got the octaves right!, a pleasure to deal with, and he has a fantastic tuner!

Binci reeds are used on the boxes that are built on Emmanuel Pariselle’s courses.  There weas one course that used VA, and one that used Ciccarelli reeds, but Binci are standard now.

Guais brothers for sure; and also Bertrand Gaillard, I believe.  Clement Guais says that only Binci gives the responsiveness he wants. On my Guais Clem 12  I slightly miss the sweetness of the Castagnari  (Antonelli) M reed, though, while the L Binci reeds are superb.

My Beltuna "Cajun" one-row, 4-stop has Bincis, and they are standard for that model (at least they here in Canada)

I should also add that most Quebec-made one-row boxes come with Binci reeds. Some of the older ones may have Salpa reeds, but its usually Binci.
