Thanks for sharing this. I was just going to announce the opening of the website.
It’s only in French for now, but I will most certainly do an English translation in the future, once the features are sufficiently tested, and the “running-in” period is over.
Still, I believe you don’t need too much French to benefit from the database already (about 300 accordions from 30 makers).
Any feedback welcome :)

How do I add myself as a maker?

The easier way would be for you to send me the details of your accordions and I’ll add them for you, for your postal address and so on I can fetch them from your website?
Here is my email : yannick@dia.to.
Do not hesitate to send pictures of the accordions, except if I can get them from your website.

Thank you, Yannick, for a very useful site ... Even if it does nudge us even nearer to MADness!

Hi,

Just to tell you that the boxes from Rees Wesson were added to the database !

https://dia.to/rees-wesson

By any chance, are there other british makers you know that I could add ? Currently I have Rees, obviously, and Doug Briggs also, but there might be other people.

Thanks !

Martyn Banks at Oakwood Instruments has just started making melodeons again after a gap of fifteen years or more. His early button accordions are the stuff of legend and command high prices in the UK. Martyn isn't computer savvy and doesn't even have a personal email address as far as I am aware so just use the website 'Contact Us' to enquire about current models etc.
