Still squeezing after all these years.
Mostly on hohners , with a couple of Dinos and a smattering of anglos - and now a Jeffries duet

Super sweet. I often think, how many different sounds can there be for a Castagnari. The Jilly sounds unique and lovely.

For comparison , here’s the same tune on a Dino Bafetti Binci - the prototype model before they brought out the special

Both versions are excellent, Pikey, but I much prefer the sound of the Jilly - strong, sweet, melodious and capable of great subtlety. I wish I could justify buying one, but I've just ordered a Streb and I would have to have a death wish to consider buying anything else in the next couple of years. Pity!

I've told you all often enough - he's negotiating for York Minster!

My other melodeon's a fiddle, but one of my Hohners has six strings! I also play a very red Hawkins Bazaar in C and a generic Klingenthaler spoon bass in F.!! My other pets (played) are gobirons - Hohner Marine Band in C, Hohner Tremolo in D and a Chinese Thingy Tremolo in G.
