Hohner grill
« on: January 07, 2018, 04:25:18 PM »

Just spent a lovely morning with Chris73 who by the way is coming on in leaps and bounds with his playing. He bought a superb Hohner Pokerwork from Theo, but the grill was slightly pitted. Being a perfectionist , he wanted to alter it. I gave him some mull and what a fantastic job he’s done. A black grill that now looks as if Hohner had done it themselves. I’m sure he’ll post some pictures.

Thanks again Nick! Pictures below, I am pleased with how it came out, gives the Pokerwork the sinister Goth look! I'm trying to think of additional customisations for it, if anybody has any ideas be good to hear.
If anybody is interested I'll now be running weekend courses for spraying grill's on Pokerworks, or other makes (at an additional cost) I'll provide board and lodgings with a full English breakfast. Courses throughout the year, £2000 all in, a bargain! (disclaimer £200 extra for any old Koch's)
My best to all,
CL.

I'm sure Nick will explain in more detail but it's a kind of open weave cloth used to reinforce book covers and bindings, when not being used in melodeon culinary expositions.

I'm sure Lester was thinking of Mulligan's Tyres.

Mull?
I was thinking some kind of drink.

Not really a paint then by the looks of it.
It does look good.

I had to spray the mull as well, as it was it's natural colour. Yep, Malc is on it! used for book binding, i'm learning from the Master.
