ABC for Serpentiner Och Konfetti ?
« on: January 11, 2018, 09:24:34 PM »

Hi All, I've been looking (in vain) for an ABC for this Scandinavian tune, Serpentiner Och Konfetti. It needs to be in G, D or possibly E minor. Can anyone help please?

One small request -- speaking as the person who effectively introduced this tune to the UK, please either listen to Mats Eden's original recording (Groupa, Vildhonung) or the link below, and learn how to get some backbeat and life into it instead of the downbeat ploddy abomination often heard at sessions, possibly played by people who've learned it from the dots or ABC or other people playing it ploddily...

[played as 24 bar ABB for the dance, usually 32 bar AABB in sessions]

Thank you Ian !! My son is the clever player, so I learn the basic tune, and then he learns to play it with extra feeling and emphasis so this is perfect!
