Reading this really makes me marvel that people can make a profit at fettling accordions (especially piano accordions). He said he can spend three weeks overhauling an instrument!

I looked at his site, and think maybe best not send my Pokerwork there... (i.e. PA Paradise)  Interesting tho, never heard of them...  And I think, even in the PA world, there are more than three decent tuners in the States.

I think the "bequeathed" toolbox must be this section of the photo - those look like the kind of precious specialist tools a technician might make up for their own use...

He certainly has a fearsome array of them, though they wouldn't be any use to me - I only use old toothbrushes when I'm working with acetone, but they have to be antique ones with bone handles and natural bristles because the stuff melts plastic ones with nylon bristles... :o
