Lovely ensemble playing. Nice to see Hohners played with such delicacy. And what the hell is that one on the floor - it looks like two bass ends stuck together.

I love that guy on the Weltmeister sawing away like he's on a stand up bass.

Some class of bandoneon? He's playing it here.

These chaps are brilliant. Thanks for posting, Arty!
Here's another video:

Their rhythmic precision is superb, especially in the lop-sided 12/8* faster sections.

This instrument is not bandoneon. Seems to be kind of melodeon/accordion

I just love the whoosh of air from the air buttons used to great musical effect.

Meeee toooooo.

And everything everyone else said.  Arty I so appreciate the links you post. I was in dire need of something fresh.  I LOVE that these guys are doing on Hohners what most folks only seem to pull off on VERY expensive accordions!  If those boxes have original reeds the whole a mano discussion of another thread just became more interesting.  Also the thread about melodeons as chamber instruments.  I am even more excited about the old corona iiir I have on the way (like the guy on the right’s as my 5 yr old pointed out- apparently far more aware of boxes than I thought!  I hope everyone checks out the 15 min video of them.

In regards to the box he is playing- could it be 2- 12 bass ends put together?

Also- in the longer video there is a tune that sure sounds a lot like Flatworld.... any thoughts?
