Streb..??
byteofthecherry:
How many owners on here..??..opinions..??
Steve_freereeder:
There are several owners on this forum. Steve Rouse, the inventor and builder of the Streb, is also a member here.
Steve C.:
I have #101 (new from Steve a couple years ago) and IMO, you must have one. I think there are quite a few owners on the melnet and you would have trouble prying their Streb away. Many reasons, the least of which is that they are hilarious fun and quite nice.

I have one - I don't use it a huge amount, mainly when people are asleep or when I want to practise without being heard. But then, that's exactly what I bought it for.
It works well, is well made, well supported, there isn't much difference from playing a "real" melodeon, and it looks the part.
It has a speaker, although mine is normally used with headphones, and various line and midi interfaces. There is a variety of voices to suit your taste, or provide amusement if you prefer.
My only criticism, if I had to find one, would be that I'd have preferred stepped basses in Pokerwork/Black Pearl style. But that's a personal preference.
Steve C.:
I knew I needed to get on Steve's waiting list after looking at Clives "Brudesmarsch efter Byss Calle". This is 180 degrees from normal melodeon face. Must have one.
