Ouch!

Similarly, swine flu was pretty good in that respect, too, once the initial phase had sorted itself out.

Well I've a had a bout of bronchitis for the last 3 weeks and I'm now so weak from coughing I've not got the strength to pick up a box. So I don't recommend that. :D

Don't want to overstate the case, but I had some depressive times after losing my job.  Didn't play at all then, but as I was recovering, I played a lot and couldn't wait to get to a session - in much better mood then usual.

as long as it isn't your arm...

My worst nightmare? Injuring any part of my body that is required for playing, God Forbid, Touch Wood, etc...

What if you're a dancer as well? How do you choose?

I'm just not playing anything with too strong a rhythm, otherwise the natural tendency for foot-tapping kicks in.

Ooh, an accidental pun.

I am a dancer too. Not that I'll miss much with our side's current rule of going to as few festivals / events as possible.

Don't tell me you tripped over rushing to the post box with your Witney form  :o .....I suspect a fifth metatarsal  ???

Hope it mends soon because it can be really difficult to play without tapping your foot.  (:)

Cheers

An aching foot and a broken box? CSI will pretty soon discover that it was an attempted insurance fraud.

I was running through the streets of Oxford only the day after posting the Witney form, broke the 5th met and also the cuboid, which is a nice rare one to add to the books.
