Hi Everyone

I've been given a 1 row 4 stop hohner in C that used to belong to Roy Dommett. It's not in bad shape, but the grille is missing (not a problem) but one of the pads ahs fallen off and been lost. Charlie Marshall doesn't have any, nor do Hohner's C-shop

Can anyone of this parish (I'm think Rees, Theo or Lester) help me out as I've only got pads long enough for 3 voice

I remember Dommett from many a Morris workshop in my dancing days !!  quite a character..he mostly played a small piano accordian,..not in the best of condition,as I recall it always sounded a bit rough.   Surprising if you consider what his "Day Job" was,.....as a nuclear engineer and designer for British Aeorospace amongst others, he was responsible for much of the design and developement work on the "Chevaline" multi Warhead system fitted to British operated Trident nuclear missiles during the 70's. Ive often wondered how many Folky / CND, Rather left wing people in the morris and folk world would have reacted to him had more realised what he did when not teaching morris dances !!
