Our local Scottish fiddler plays this tune and wanted to know a bit about it. It is attributed to Ian Sinclair, can anyone provide any background information?

On http://www.artsmith-caithness.co.uk/animations.htm they give credits to Ian Sinclair for permission to use original recordings of this tune. I suppose they know where to find him.
