Session taybank ,Dunkeld 1 March
« on: February 23, 2018, 10:11:38 PM »

I have to travel back North from Glasgow airport on the aftenoon of the Ist March Thursday and have looked for a session between there and home near Grantown. Found the Taybank Hotel in Dunkeld which seems to welcome players. Are there any other box players who might be in that area  to join me for some tunes, theres a mention of fiddle players that evening as well, but i plan to start early around 7 , until 10 ish.
Will be taking along my DG pokerwork and AD Sandpiper.

Last time I was there, for the Thurs night mainly fiddle session led by Pete Clark and Ron Shaw, there was a PA on a very high wall mounted shelf. When I asked if anyone played it the reply was; "Why do you think it's placed out of reach" Perhaps melodeon players will have a better reception but the Taybank is always worth a visit.

Glasgow airport closed at the moment I believe. No flights before 3PM at the earliest. I can't even see you getting to Glasgow in this weather.
