Sheffield Sessions Festival
« on: March 24, 2018, 12:15:18 AM »

Anyone else planning on going to Sheffield next weekend? We are booked into the Travelodge and hoping the snow does not arrive! For anyone who has not been this is a great event, my favourite price i.e free! Last year I was struck by the large number of talented young musicians.

In Helsinki, sorry. (I'd even been offered B&B)

Even though I live here I won’t manage to get to it... have a houseful of visitors for the weekend and on my only sneaking-off night I have a gig so can’t even make it then! Sounds feeble, I know, but..

I'm really looking forward to this. Booked into the Wilson Carlisle Centre for a couple days. Really recommend this place. Staying in the Peaks for a week as well. Love Sheffield and surrounding area.

If you can make it to The Barrel at Bretton (near Eyam) on the Wednesday after Easter you’ll get a session, from 8.30pm.

We'll be there, we're hosting the Saturday evening session at the Dog and Partridge -- bring along tunes from anywhere that might sound vaguely English if you squinted... ;-)

Sounds a great idea how about we meet up on Friday? I'll be in the KIT at three o'clock.

Hi Pete
Have sent you a PM. Can’t do anything till after Monday cos of family visiting which takes priority (and playing a gig).
