This could run and run! How about "Khazi", a jig composed by John McCuster?

I'd go for A Waterloo Dance...not too much of a strain ::)

J
But surely A Portaloo Dance would be better if the dance is being performed outside?

"A Trip To The Cottage" is a euphemism for a trip to the outside lav. Good tune, too.

This would be a theme of the month with a difference.

Chadwick's Bog composed by Ronnie Cooper.

And it really is about Chadwick's bog - a hotel toilet and the noise it made.

The Black Cat Piddled in the White Cat's Eye

An interesting version of Winster Galop as played by a fiddler of aboriginal descent on remote Cape Barren Island, off Tasmania.

Thanks for sharing. What a great resource. The tune version shares many similarities with a version that I have from East Yorkshire. I suspect this has more to do with polygenesis than direct distribution.

Great site. Bookmarked.
Funny. I would swear I've never come across this tune before, but a quick once through convinced me I already knew it. Would make a great morris tune.

I read somewhere that Brian Peters heard the tune during one of his trips to Australia and began playing it back in England .. and there's Captain James Cook who came from East Yorkshire too!

My other melodeon's a fiddle, but one of my Hohners has six strings! I also play a very red Hawkins Bazaar in C and a generic Klingenthaler spoon bass in F.!! My other pets (played) are gobirons - Hohner Marine Band in C, Hohner Tremolo in D and a Chinese Thingy Tremolo in G.
