Yes I know Steve, just having a wee stir. The D/G is already packed and in the van, along with the G/C, and the Bb/Eb

Stirred but not shaken...  ;)

You are a few years too late - in years gone by a wee stirrer could have  found a job in Whitby when it was imported from far afield;

Mind that's a canny thread drift, Stotty! But interesting, in that I'm left wondering is that possibly one of the industrial situations where the saying about "taking the ****" came from, along with "not having a pot to **** in"?

Steve, widely loved, and late of this parish, was interred 2 days ago. Seems to have been a local/ semi private do, but a "big event" is planned later on

I've suggested a memorial weekday Whitby session/wake on a FB thread, perhaps an afternoon in the Golden Lion? It is central for people tied to other events. So more could get there.

When is the Melnet meet please, and is there to be a Bb/Eb/Cm/Gm session?

Just home from folk Week. Thanks to all the mellneters we met during the week who shared tunes with us. Euro sessions as usual brought out some interesting material. Flat booked for next year, next stop Hartlepool Festival and sessions with the Orchard family, who are making the trek north.

I'm a Yorkie!
My other melodeon's a fiddle, but one of my Hohners has six strings! I also play a very red Hawkins Bazaar in C and a generic Klingenthaler spoon bass in F.!! My other pets (played) are gobirons - Hohner Marine Band in C, Hohner Tremolo in D and a Chinese Thingy Tremolo in G.

Just echoing Tufty's comments  - Thanks to all I met in the sessions - and especially to Ken who had to deal with the busiest session I encountered .
