I just noticed that if I am reading the forum via Firefox, I do not get access to full edit features when
composing/editing a post (eg: can't see Smileys, though I can type 'em in by hand).

If I use Chrome, all is well.

Any reason for this that anyone knows?

Thank you.

Roger

Thank you for the speedy reply. I'm using v59.0, and still can't see the full editor features.
v59.0 comes from the PortableApps site, and I guess they will update some time soon - for
the time being I will stick with v59.0, as it's not a great problem - I was just puzzled.

I usually use Chrome which is why I hadn't spotted it before.

Thanks again.

Nothing to do with the version number, at least not between 59 and 60. Firefox 52.8 here and a full set of smiley icons.

I'm running 60.1 without any issues. Suggest updating.

If you go to your Profile, Look and Layout, Current Smiley Set there is an option to switch smileys off... Just saying.
Something may have got accidentally tweaked.

Nope, first thing I checked - in any case, all is fine with Chrome. Thanks for the suggestion though - it is easy to
re-set these things without realising...

As I said, I use the PortableApps (PA) version of Firefox (and Chrome), which sometimes lags a little behind the
most recent version (while they convert to PA format, I suppose). As soon as PA announce v60, I will update. I
usually use Chrome so it's not a major problem.

Just curious - the 'must know at all costs' syndrome - I should know better at my age! (:)

I'm running Firefox 56 (for reasons, not sloth) and it's fine for me
