Wanted - valve booster springs
« on: May 30, 2018, 02:39:15 PM »

Has anybody in the UK got a dozen long valve booster springs and fastening pads that they don't need?  Charlie Marshall has them for sale, but I really don't need 200!

Mostly on hohners , with a couple of Dinos and a smattering of anglos - and now a Jeffries duet

Won't he split them for you? He certainly did that for me on reed valves, quoted per 100, but I got 50.

If you have (access to or) an old PA you can recycle them. Sticky dot labels work in lieu of leather dots.

I can let you have sticky dot labels if you ask nicely Kev. Just let me know which colour you prefer.  ;D

My other melodeon's a fiddle, but one of my Hohners has six strings! I also play a very red Hawkins Bazaar in C and a generic Klingenthaler spoon bass in F.!! My other pets (played) are gobirons - Hohner Marine Band in C, Hohner Tremolo in D and a Chinese Thingy Tremolo in G.
