Their latest cd "Jamais sans ailes" arrived this morning. Just right for a sunny afternoon!  (:)

Now I've listened to this a few times, I'm sure that others who've liked Grand-Mères et Soufflets' other recordings will like this one, too. There's a lovely variety of tempos, times and moods, all held together by the ensemble playing. The dance-based compositions are all by Sylvain Butté, and his sensitive and assured playing on diatonic accordion is beautifully matched by those around him. If you like the sound of diato and clarinet (Cyril Mercier), particularly, you'll love some of the tunes here - sensuous and lyrical, at times, and lively and energetic at others. The waltzes and mazurkas are my favourites.

NB No commercial interest!  ;)

One to enjoy!
