Le Deserteur - French anti-War Song
Ebor_fiddler:
We played this last night at our French Session in Leeds and I love it! Does anybody have the dots or a pdf for this please? I can find the words ever so easily, but nobody seems to have bothered putting the tune on board. Apparently Pizza, Pooh and Magpie recorded it a couple of years or so ago, in the sixties.

Composed by Boris Vian 1954 and recorded by him in 1955. I can send you the recording if you like.

Thanks Stiamh. I've been able to see Youtube etc recordings on t'Interweb Thingy, but I'm really not very good at learning tunes that way I'm afraid, which is why I need dots ... :( (Consider pot well thrown, but I aimed to miss!)
While I'm on my knees, could I ask valued friends or friends I have't met yet, for the music for Polka des Galvachers (translates as "Cowboy") as well please ?
Thanks in advance,
Chris B.
