Bernard Loffet's business to be continued

The four daughters of the late Bernard Loffet and his staff have announced that they intend to keep the business running, although there may be cut-backs in some areas.

Good news indeed, especially that the Graet e breizh range will be able to continue.

I was waiting to post something here until some news was announced. I've been in touch with Gautier at L'Atelier Loffet over the last couple of weeks discussing whether they are able to supply a new D/G 2.6 melodeon to my specifications, which they are happy to do, and feel that they can live up to Bernard's standards.

I'd been thinking about this over the last year, as I love the two Loffets that I currently play, and just dithered a bit due to other pressures on time. My regret is that I didn't do it before, so that I could have thanked Bernard personally for the pleasure his instruments have given me (and hopefully the people who've heard them!).

So they're already up and running. My new instrument is hopefully due at the end of September....I'll keep you posted...

Cheers,
Guy
