Thanks Rod, I've inadvertently ignored the obvious and haven't checked his website.....

I think I'm starting to get most of the notes in roughly the right order...... sometimes!

Thank you all for the recomendations.

I would go for the 26/48 accordion bag for this box.

Another recommendation for the Fuselli bag from Acorn Pete (sorry to have been slow to respond - I haven't been checking melnet for the last few days due to illness). It is an excellent bag which protects my melodeons not only while carrying them around at festivals, sessions and gigs, but also provides good protection when my boxes are travelling in our motorhome. My only slight regret is that there is no side pocket to carry a music stand, but you can't have everything.

Just as an update,  as I needed cases for 2 boxes,  I actually went with one of each!  German music supplier http://musikhaus-markstein-gmbh.shopgate.com/item/3030303035363230 did a very good job of next day shipping to my hotel and then purchased the fuselli case back in the UK.
Both are good cases,  but I'm really impressed with the soundwear case.  Very well designed,  padded with good pockets and straps.
This is smallest case they offer,  so to big for a straight 2 row.   But perfect for a 12 bass, 2 and a half or 3 row.
