ADIEU LES FILLES DE MON PAYS    Sung

My source recording is at the end of this long page:

I love the softer approach you take, Jack. I found this video earlier and it's great. I wonder, is everyone in the Morvan a musician?

Still squeezing after all these years.
Mostly on hohners , with a couple of Dinos and a smattering of anglos - and now a Jeffries duet

Great pulse to your playing and the percussive key-clicking fits right in.  Love your "owning" the unintentioned bit with a grimace!

Thoroughly enjoyable.

I'd better get my effort in before it's too late  (:)

It put me in mind of Weasel's Revenge and I've been pairing them when playing them out, so this is what I've recorded.

Played this a few times over the course of the month, brought it to a tune session even. It's nice and simple to pick up, and was interesting to try and work out some chords for - otherwise you can kinda end up playing G almost all the time. It has a lot of power to it, too, as this sort of tune often seem to.

I decided to experiment with bringing a 2nd, non squeezing instrument in, too, so, also featured this month is my Baritone Ukulele. Syncing up two videos like this is not the easiest with my current workflow...

Very interesting to hear it put into a few sets, Weasel's Revenge indeed!

Played with far more subtlety than I could ever conjure up Gena. I do do find this tune fun. You're spot on about the driving force it has.

Not a connection I'd have made, but a nice pair. I must get on and learn Weasel's Revenge some time...
