It works fine for me on my iMac running High Sierra OS, using Safari and Firefox.

However, I've noticed one error which has crept in:
The 'Castagnari Melodeons (other keys)' page now links erroneously to the Acorn home page instead of 'Melodeons in other keys'. This needs fixing.

Earlier today I saw a posting about the Acorn Instruments site generating a security warning.
Your LetsEncrypt certificate was renewed only a few days ago, on the 14th. Maybe the previous one had expired*, or there was some timing glitch whereby the new one wasn't recognised at first.

*Unlikely, as Letsencrypt certificates are usually renewed 3-4 weeks before they expire, every 3 months. I sometimes get warnings 19 days before expiry on sites on my own hosting.

Hi Pete,

The website works fine on my iPad, with the exception of the "Castagnari Instruments-Other Keys" going back to the home page.
However, on my MacBook Air, whenever I try to access the website I get a security warning. I've tried through the link on the message, through the link on MelNet's home page and via Google, and keep getting the same result.

I hope that this helps in some way...

Cheers,
Guy

Hi Pete,

Just checking-on my iPad and Mac the “Castagnari- Other Keys”  now just goes to the same page as the “Castagnari D/G” button.

Hope this helps,
Guy

Yes, same for me. It says 'non-D-G' at the top of the page, but it still points to the D/G instruments, rather than instruments in other tunings.

Hi Pete,
I'm sorry, but the problem seems to have re-appeared on my Mac this morning, and I can't get to the website at all. Has anybody else seen this, or is it just me?
I thought you'd like to know, anyway....

Cheers,
Guy

Works for me (SRWare Iron (Chrome-like), Linux)

It may be irrelevant, but the W3C validator throws up quite a lot of errors.
See https://validator.w3.org/check?uri=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.acorninstruments.co.uk%2F

Ah...

Firefox 60.3 is giving me a security error message and is unable to show me the security certificate. Strange, because Iron is having no trouble with it and the certificate is valid and unexpired.

Also, Chrome on my Android tablet complains: NET:ERR_CERT_AUTHORITY_INVALID

Hello, I have a macbook pro that's still running El Capitan 10.11. If I try to use Safari on this system, version 11 apparently, I get this when navigating to the Acorn site.

I seem to be able to drop into more details, and request that my system start trusting the issuing authority if I type in my device password, and I assume that'll get it working in Safari.

So, switching to a different browser, your site works just fine for me in whatever the most updated version of chrome is probably, but, also note that the root certificate being used appears to be issued from a slightly different authority:

So, your customer may or may not be being impacted by something like this, but most likely only if they are using an older system? I think this is the same error that Anahata experienced with his Android tablet. I'm not sure why one root certificate is being picked over the other, or, if one browser is simply displaying the chain in a different manner to the other, but, hopefully this gives you an idea of what to investigate.
