Body Art
« on: November 22, 2018, 10:23:03 PM »

I met a young fellow today who is studying music therapy at a local university.  Most of our conversation was oriented around our musical interests and activities.  He showed me 2 recently received tattoo's...both oriented toward his musical interests. He then shared his intention to get many more.  This made me wonder...has anyone ever received or given a melodeon tattoo?  I have never seen one.

The link works for me on an iphone but not on a full size machine.   Very strange.

When I got involved with melodeons, I had no idea that my life would be enriched in such different ways!  I saw the picture and read the thread from 2013. Couldn't help but to smile and laugh out loud! It was pleasing to read that the tattoo is an accurate depiction of the wearers melodeon!

I have not one but two in the planning stages. Will post pictures when they're done.

Looks a bit like a pokerwork.  Could’ve used a soldering iron instead. 😖

Elderly amateur musician hoping to stave off dementia by learning to play the melodeon.  Main instrument a Tommy, also D/G and G/C pokerworks,  a single row 2 stop Hohner, and a new addition to the free reedery, a rather splendid Paolo Soprani four voice 120 bass c-system chromatic button accordion.  Very shiny, very loud, and about the same size and weight as a small car.  Now I’ve traded me Benny with (ahem) a cash adjustment, to a three voice 60 bass Castagnari K3.
