Poll: Tune of the month for June 2022
« on: May 25, 2022, 10:29:32 PM »

Hi all, this month's 4 choices

Last month's runner up, Westmorland - from the North West of England, and apparently a playford tune - here played by Dave Middlehurst https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pM1u7l6MNRY

... and 3 more from various morris traditions.

Next, Old Tom of Oxford, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9zhhJ2sZUUQ as played by Paul Freeman

Banbury Lane - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nmJA8R3ULXY , played by Will Allen

Lumps of Plum Pudding - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T8Qc_CP-daY as played by Martin Ellison

[ Apologies for the spelling folks - fixed! ]

Happy voting!

That Martin Ellison is a bloody great player, isn’t he! Whenever I listen to him, I find my whole body moving involuntarily to his rhythms, or I am in tears because of the emotion he manages to coax out of his box. Great....really great!
Sorry for the drift Clive  ;)
