Who'd have thought badgers could dance like that  ;D

Fascinating program even without the squeezing.

It's probably a daft question but is the first tune a proper one that I don't know or just something made up for the film?

Like the Badger melodeonista, I would like to depart this mortal coil whilst playing for dancing - but not quite yet please !
(And as per JK's song - it'd better be a diatonic button accordion I get given down below - none of them things with piano keys... >:E)

I don't think the first tune was real ... but it was a really good pastiche of a simple morris tune.  It was definitely a MIDI accordion sound though!

I thought it was charming.

I think the tune was bits of Princess Royal, and it was more like it towards the end, when the animal in the cage was playing.
Perhaps it was just wishful thinking....

Princess Royal was definitely played as the second tune, I think I'm going to nick the first one and see if we can shoehorn a dance to fit it.

I think that first little tune needs a B to go with it.  It’d be a bit repetitititive without some such relief.

Shouldn't be hard to ask the composer

Then who did? The director?
We can't just trad it because we don't know.

Steady on, I wasn't suggesting anything of the kind. I may drop the director a note and enquire about the tune fragment, or even pop around to the studio as it's less than a hour from me.  (:)
