He's not been on the forum for ages. Anyone know if he's OK? On his profile it says 'left the building'..

It's a great pity that he has left the forum.
The man is a mine of information, and a recognized authority on the history of free-reed instruments.
I know that he is hugely respected amongst the box and concertina fraternity in Ireland.
I believe the forum is going to be a poorer place for his absence.

Over at Concertina.net it says on Stephen's profile that he last visited the site on 19th January 2018 and his last actual post was made on 4th April 2017.
No other updates on his profile which might give a clue to his silence.  :(

Please could you send him a FB message saying that people on melnet have been concerned for his well-being?

Confused, tried the link John MacKenzie sent me for Facebook takes me to the same page I had before for Stephen Chambers, with last post 25th September.
