How can you play the accordion and remain in control, while your leg bounces about like a crazy thing?!  ???

Not wanting to distract from a genius performance, but the backup is rather impressive, too.

Ooh yeah, Dave's a genius alright!
He began on a single-row melodeon and its interesting to see how his style has developed as he's moved to 2 row and 2 1/2 row boxes.

It's pretty mad that he does that on an 18 bass box too :-)

The guitarist’s left leg is bouncing about quite a bit too, and at one point an audience member’s foot bobs up into the frame.  #uncontrollablefoottapping .

Elderly amateur musician hoping to stave off dementia by learning to play the melodeon.  Main instrument a Tommy, also D/G and G/C pokerworks,  a single row 2 stop Hohner, and a new addition to the free reedery, a rather splendid Paolo Soprani four voice 120 bass c-system chromatic button accordion.  Very shiny, very loud, and about the same size and weight as a small car.  Now I’ve traded me Benny with (ahem) a cash adjustment, to a three voice 60 bass Castagnari K3.

Now you're talking. One of my favourite YouTube videos. I keep meaning to learn to do that, before I get too old. It's a race against time...

If you like foot tapping and accordion, then the YouTube channel of Frank Sears is a must-see:

I'll have to stop watching Dave Munnelly videos where he plays his Van der Aa boxes, seeing that he's retiring, it only reminds me that I won't have one of these  :(
