Maybe not a folk dance tune?
« on: January 14, 2019, 11:33:51 AM »

Here's another tune I've just transcribed from the playing of Harry Cockerill. It sounds familiar, but I can't identify it. I've got a feeling that it may not be a folk dance tune originally, although Harry played it for dancing. Is it perhaps a song tune, maybe from the 1950s pop or C&W genre? Harry played it as the first in a set of two tunes before seguing into Wheels, the String-a-Longs hit from 1960-61.
