Any Folk clubs/ folk music sessions in Buxton please

 (:) we'll be in Buxton for a long weekend later this year ( beginning of November) and wondered if there were any melodeon and concertina friendly  ;D :|||: folk clubs, sessions or Morris events in the town we might be able visit please?  :D ...  even if we can't get to them this time it's always nice to know for future visits.  Thanks Ann

I don't know of anything around Buxton itself, but there's a session at Gawsworth, south of Macclesfield (about 1/2 hour drive from Buxton)
every Friday at the Harrington Arms from about 9pm, once the diners have finished.  To be honest, it's been a bit thin on the ground lately but there's usually a couple of melodeons, English and Anglo concertinas, and usually a fiddle or two.
