Microvox
« on: May 13, 2019, 10:26:05 AM »

I wonder if anyone can help with a contact for Microvox. The clip on my preamp has broken. Their website microvox.co.uk (from Google search) doesn't work, neither does the phone number. I have discovered that the company was still in existence a few weeks ago, so I guess it must be contactable.
Can anyone offer a clue?
Thanks

You could try the old fashioned mail service. My experience of Microvox's support was vwr positive,  Rachel [ :|bl] Microvox Limited, 31 Heys Road, HOLMFIRTH, HD9 7SF.

I dealt with rachel@microvox.co.uk last year.

I also had a good experience, with a fault fixed for no charge and a quick turnaround. Hope they're still going.

If you still get no joy you could try contacting Eagle Music as they are a stockist of Microvox and based just down the road from Holmfirth and might know what's going on: https://www.eaglemusicshop.com/

Thanks for help here, I have just emailed her at the rachel address, so I'll see what happens.
I love the unit.

No, the email bounced back just now. I'll try Eagle tomorrow and then try writing.

The number I have for Microvox/Rachel is 01484 684049.

She is very helpful, and probably just having internet issues. She fixed a couple of faults for me last autumn at no charge, even though mu Microvox kit is old and the damage was caused by my carelessness!!

The mystery deepens. Eagle saw Rachel last week. However, they too are having the same contact problems as I am experiencing at the moment. It has to be internet issues I guess. I shall leave it a few days and try again. In the meantime if anyone can throw light on this..............................

Still no web site though...

A whois lookup shows that the domain registration ran out: "Expiry date:  10-Apr-2019"
