The tune is very lovely and so is the playing!

Do you have a Hohner from 1934-1945 with a serial number on?
Send me a private message or comment on the German Accordion Problem spreadsheet to improve the statistics of the project and get an estimate of the production date of the box if it is not known.

Thanks for the kind words, I enjoyed producing the video as well, one of my favourite places in the UK

Are there dots or ABC notation for this?
I'd love to be able to play it, but I drift off into daydreams when listening to it.
I remember trotting around Whitby as a child, we stayed in a cottage which was the last on the left in Tin Gaunt, with a spiral staircase and shutters at the windows to stop the sea coming in....

Hi Anne
I'm delighted that you like the tune. I wanted it to drift like the sailing ship on a calm sea :) We love the Whitby area and used to backpack by bus from Ilkeston to Fylingthorpe and Middlewood Farm camp site in the early 1970's. Had some great times up there.

Sorry no dots or ABC - I never learned to read music and so play everything by ear.
