Does anyone know the name of this zydeco song?
« on: May 22, 2019, 10:00:32 PM »

I heard a zydeco song the other day that sounded like a cover of "Yakety Sax" played on a one-row. I didn't have an opportunity to look at my phone to see who the artist was or what the actual name of the song was. Do any of you happen to know what it might have been? It was really cool and I'd like to learn it. (I know I'd probably be better served going to the Cajun forum and asking, but I don't have an account there, so I thought I'd try posting here first).

It was probably Yakety Sax, I've never heard it done but everything is up for grabs if it can be Zydecoed.

I finally found it! I've spent three solid days listening to the Zydeco station on Pandora and waiting for it to play again lol. It's not "Yakety Sax", nor is it played on a one-row, which might explain why I had such a hard time finding it. Here it is, if anyone is interested. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b7AtDm8lP6A
