Rubber! I would never have thought of that- thanks! And thanks very much for that bit of reedblock building wisdom. I’ll root around for ways to build a pedal operated tuning table.

Unfortunately there aren’t that many car-boot sales and that sort of thing around here. Maybe later in the year there might be? Either way, the odd sensibly priced eBay listing looks to be the way

Will do- the reasonableness of the pricing on there (and eBay too for that matter) does seem to vary rather though
