Any members or melodeon teachers in Perthshire?
« on: July 08, 2019, 11:08:24 PM »

Are there any known melodeon teachers in Perth-shire ?
Failing that any melnet members who might be willing & able to help an adult absolute beginner get started?

Initial enquiry on foot of someone seeing me with the 1040 (but evidently not heard my playing) at the Ceolas Sgoil Shamraidh on South Uist this afternoon.  I understand they have a melodeon at home, probably a 2 row but I don't know anything about it's age, condition or tuning, so this is an initial "Is anyone there?"  sort of post.

It's a pity  I wasn't up on South Uist this week. I'm going there on the 20th july.
We could have met up for a wee tune together.

Tha sin duilich. Bithidh mi a'dol air ais dhan Eilean Sgiathanach  air 13mh An Iuchair.
Tha mi an duil gum biithidh thu a'dol tro Malaig neo an t-Oban?

Where in Perthshire do you live? I don't teach melodeon but I do play. Ruairidh
