This may not be the place but just another glowing endorsement for Charlie and his service.

I ordered some bellows taqpe at 14 08 yesterday. It arrived in the post today sometime round noon.

That's some service....thank you Charlie and everyone who recommended him.... :|glug

Things turn up almost before you order them. Uncannily quick anyway. He's a smashing bloke to deal with and knows his stuff.
Doesn't care how big, or small, an order is, either.

You are correct Baz it's not the place, though I agree with the sentiment.

Here in the US you can't quite get that fast service, but considering everything coming my direction gets held up in Chicago for customs I'm still thrilled to get a shipment in a week!  Four times I've ordered and I've yet to find a service in the states that can compare on inventory or knowledge.  Have to make smart orders to maximize the shipping but he helps with that as well.

Having ordered a couple of things from CGM I am firmly convinced that he has access to some space/time dimension unavailable to others.

Elderly amateur musician hoping to stave off dementia by learning to play the melodeon.  Main instrument a Tommy, also D/G and G/C pokerworks,  a single row 2 stop Hohner, and a new addition to the free reedery, a rather splendid Paolo Soprani four voice 120 bass c-system chromatic button accordion.  Very shiny, very loud, and about the same size and weight as a small car.  Now I’ve traded me Benny with (ahem) a cash adjustment, to a three voice 60 bass Castagnari K3.

Another 'thumbs up' for Charlie from me. Great chap to deal with - knows his stuff and always willing to advise if you are uncertain about exactly what you need. As others have said, his turnaround of orders is almost legendary; usually arrives the next day.

The only time I ever experienced a problem was a few months ago when an order of valves did not turn up. After a couple of days it hadn't arrived so I phoned Charlie who assured me it had been sent the same day that I'd ordered. Another couple of days passed with still no delivery. It was looking increasingly like the package had been lost in the post. Another phone call to Charlie who immediately made up a fresh order and sent it off, all free of charge, and which I received the next day. Such excellent and understanding service!  :|glug

I never did receive the original order so goodness knows where that ended up.

Yet another  vote of appreciation for Charlie - he seems to be able get stuff here to me about a week faster than anyone else.  Couldn't imagine a more helpful and knowledgeable supplier.
