- will be packing all the duvets lol!

I suggest a pair of thick socks, works wonders in a van in winter

Ah, fear not - I will have woolly socks! I dye wool and I’ve got an antique sock knitting machine so I have no excuse for having cold feet 🤣

Looking forward to it - I’ve booked for improvers and a friend is coming to the absolute beginners 🙂 I’ve just booked up to stay at the pub in my small campervan - will be the earliest in the year I’ve stayed in the van - will be packing all the duvets lol!

Yeah were in our van too - not quite the earliest in the year, we once camped at Straw Bear in our old Bongo but it's pretty early.  I hear the camping space is getting very full so we are certainly not the only ones.

Great, we can all huddle together for warmth 😆

Meanwhile the long range forecast is for a hard January/February.....Just to cheer up the campers. On the plus side if Bretforton gets snowed in and you are camping you will only have to get in on the Friday then sit/play it out for the duration.

Hi Dave,
Still room in the beginners - as Helena said, just wander over to the website.

And please remember folks, if you've booked and you find you can't make it, please let us know - especially improvers - so we can offer the place to somebody else.
Cheers
Malcolm

That's me booked 2 nights at the Premier Inn......Given the number of "heroes" that seem to be C/Glamping  this year I hope I won't be eating breakfast alone!!!

If the Fleece had showers I'd think about camping.... it would be nice not to have to drive after chucking out time but...

Many of us get taxis to and from the Fleece.  A tenner for a taxi among four isn't too painful. It's usually not difficult to find someone to share.

Taxi sounds good and a tenner sounds very reasonable...but if Deo comes with me I wll have to use the car....and  can give others a lift.
I'll decide whether to bring herself or not much closer to the date.

Deo likes melodeons, fiddles, pub food and open fires.....dislikes guitars and banjos.

Deo likes cheesy chips.  I know this from experience.

...although I can't see it being a problem. However, having all three and a dog in the Pewter room could become a bit of a challenge.

The PA in question is Helena's spare cheesy chip disposal unit.

Is AD assistance dog?
Cos he could chew the corners of the PA for you.

Actually I'd quite like to get to this, but this year is already planning out very different from what I expected.

Furry four-legged PA? No problem.  ;D (cheesy grin, as close as I can get on here)

OMG the weather forecast is not nice, esp Saturday night/ Sunday! I’ve stayed in my van in Scotland in some pretty grim weather but more worried about driving home on Sunday 😕

Wow - I didn’t realise you’d come so far! I’ve been up to Skye 3 times now - love it up there. Your dog is gorgeous btw 😍 I missed my boy - was nice to get home to him today.
