Not a 32 bar A, a sixteen bar A played twice, as in AA.

But on further reflection, there were two separate sessions and I'm not sure that Peadar was in the same one as me anyway.

I know of no tunes standard where you would play a 32 bar A music as this would generate a 64 bar tune???

But A parts are not always 8 bars are they? How about 16 bar tunes as below. I would say that the A is 4 bars, and the tune played is 2A2B, making a total of 16 bars.

"From what I remember you played only the 8 bars of the WG A music whereas it is normal in English circles to play it twice to make it 16 bars in length, again with the B the tune is only 8 bars so it is normally played twice to total 16 bars thus giving a 32 bar tune."

The EATMT circular today suggest a free read workshop in late March 2021. I am sure Steve Dumpleton will up something when he and they have decided more.

Yes, we are planning to run an event similar to the old 'Melodeons and More' day of workshops on 27th March 2021, based in and around Burwell House in Cambridgeshire (between Newmarket and Ely). It's early days yet but we are hoping to have perhaps up to 10 workshops catering for players of melodeons, anglo concertinas, English concertinas and piano accordions, for all ability levels. Also an evening concert. More details to come over the next few weeks and months but for now, put the date in your diaries. I'll start a separate thread so as not to hijack this one. Please address any replies there.
