Halsway Manor Absolute Beginners D/G Melodeon
« on: August 28, 2019, 07:55:20 AM »

Word up!
Following very successful Absolute Beginners melodeon workshops at Sidmouth and Towersey, where 60+ musicians have made a cracking start at playing, I'm now rolling up the sleeves for the next opportunity, The Folk Taster Weekend at Halsway Manor!
A fantastic chance to spend the weekend learning to play the melodeon in this glorious setting. We'll be starting from scratch, so if you've never played a melodeon, but always fancied having a go, this is the place for you. You don't even need to own a melodeon, because thanks to Spinningpath Arts, we have a bank of good instruments for you to borrow, so you can really try out before you buy your own!
And you certainly don't have to be able to read music, the Ed Rennie numbering System (Rennie Tab as some call it :-D) will have you playing in a twinkling.
Please share with anyone who would love the opportunity, thank you :-)
