EasyABC, set initial page number?
« on: October 12, 2019, 12:06:39 AM »

Hi

I'm trying to use EasyABC to create a complete book of tunes using Export All -> as a PDF Book, which works well.  I have a

%%footer "$P0 \t   \t $P1"

at the top of the abc file.

What I'd like to be able to do is to set the initial page number, so that the first page would be numbered 301.

Thanks

This is a job for PDFtk

This blog post explains how it's done:

Another way if you have the software, specifically one for PDF's, is to create the PDF and then use the header/footer commands in the PDF software to insert a page number.  I also add other things. Its a quick way if you already have suitable software.  Code is generally beyond me.
