Tunes for learning by ear: Steamboat (different!)
« on: January 22, 2020, 07:59:38 PM »

Our first tune this week is a hornpipe called Steamboat. It's not the usual North East one found in the EFDSS tune books and it's a fairly simple affair, but it's still a grand tune. In fact, it's great tune that this week some of the regular workshoppers people told me they prefer it.

As usual, I play the tune at a moderate tempo and then demonstrate it slowly for learning by ear, and the introduce a melodeon wheeze or two.

Have fun... Gavin
