Good acoustics in that factory.

Lovely tune and great playing!

Good acoustics in that factory.
Very good! I had a similar experience in the compressor house at Cynheidre colliery, playing tunes to keep myself occupied during long, lonely night-shifts whilst doing safety cover during the miners' strike.  ;)

Lovely sound, and briskly played.  Not sure it’s a factory, looks more like a warehouse to me, whatever it is that’s the cleanest floor I’ve ever seen in industrial premises.  You might find cleaner in Switzerland, but I doubt it.

I'm hooked too ... what a lovely tune to start my day.
The chords he plays are a big part of the tune's "magic", for me. And it really suits a G/C box.
[It was nicked from https://nltrad.ca/tunes/352 , transposed to C then slightly modified to reflect how its played in that video, but needs a bit more work]

Thank you for sharing that. It's a lovely tune. And it's in C so something I can actually play some chords to on my B/C box. Yay!

I've watched a few videos of the composer and others playing this lovely waltz and then attempted to notate their left-hand stuff.
Here's a transcription of the tune in G, for the benefit of D/G box players, with PDF music attached.

Thank you Smiley, just copied the abc for later consumption.
I see occasionally you have used a forward slash '/B' or '/D' in the abc, which shows in the music, and wondering what you mean by it?
Just curious!
thanks again

/B means play the B bass note, /D play a D bass note etc

Ah yes, I did wonder if it was that.
I've confused Pete Dunk of this parish, an experienced ABC-er by using  D > and D < for D push and D pull.
Since I first started adding an accompniament I've indicated which way to play the D chord, it saves having to remember.
It seems we all have our little ways of rotating tunes.

As I type, I realise why its ' / bass '.
At last year's DG weekend, one of the tutors, Anne Niepold, was notating things like C/D for a C chord and D bass.
She made the point the bass was usually the bottom of the 'equation' which is exactly what you've done!
I understand. Thank you!

Oh, you just reminded me to fix the "Am7" chord to "C/A" ... and the "Bm" to just "B".
