Such a wide range of possible different styles covered by this. Go for whichever you like! Go for as many as you like!

Enjoy,

Clive

‘Desperado’ by the Eagles, recorded a few years ago. I play a lot of pop music so much of my back catalogue is American.

Here's one I've just learned for this theme, a rather jolly number called President Lincoln's Hornpipe

And when Mary Rose and Royal George used the tune for a dance

My 1930's Erika D/G 3-voice conversion has just arrived from Mike Rowbotham and I've recorded a 1930's tune by Hoagy Carmichael called Georgia On My Mind.

I came across this fantastic jig when looking for music from Canada... except it was written by an American fiddler, Casey Driessen. So... two months later that planned, here's Gaptooth...

https://youtu.be/OV20AD5NaeM

It is simplified somewhat to fit on melodeon, not least because Casey's one of the most dynamic, expressive fiddlers that you've heard. If you're tempted to learn it, listen to his version.

Played on a 1920's Hohner G/C 12 bass, which is still for sale by the way. In fact I'll go stick it on the buy and sell now; it's a lovely, lovely box, but I just don't play it very much at all.
