Perhaps it's somehow become the unofficial tune, but I really hope me posting that hasn't had any adverse effect on the official poll.  As I've written previously, I believe the first month's tune should be accessible to as many people as possible.

Unofficial tunes here are fine, fear not, according to the completely arbitrary and still evolving 'house rules' in my head that no one, not even me, has seen. Thinking about it, and trying to keep things as interesting and inclusive for everyone as possible, I suggest the following guidelines:

- When starting new tune threads, post a video of yourself playing the tune through (fancy dress optional, grin!)
- If you start an unofficial tune, or do a version of one in response, consider having a go at that month's 'official' tune of the month as well.

Cheers,

Clive

fancy dress optional???..  i thought we could dress up in line with the tune..

Fisher's Hornpipe   --    in waders
Speed the Plough - as a farmer
Princess Royal - with a crown

we've ready had the quite brilliant 'Granny Hold The Candle...'  GBH has set quite a high standard.

now, how would one best illustrate 'Marmalade Polka'?? ;D ;D
