Really striking to hear how different the box sounds with those mics compared to the recording of le Petit Bal de la Marine, not just in clarity, but in tonal quality. Both well played of course. Good to hear you again.

Thanks for the encouragement, P&T. You're right about the improvement over PBde la Marine. With months of unstructured time ahead, I might find out how to set the various recording levels and gadgets for a decent sound.  This one had the AKG  accordion mikes going into an AKG belt-clip box and then inputting to a  cheap obsolete kodak video recorder.
