Rotunda sessions
« on: March 24, 2020, 10:12:05 AM »

In the new age of safe social distancing and the demise of our local session I have come up with an idea. Our city has many beautiful parks which at the moment are quite deserted and a couple even have band rotundas, again deserted where no bands ever play. If say half a dozen ex session players happened to meet at say 2pm on a Thursday afternoon and brought along their own chairs which were safely spaced 2m apart...Is this socially irresponsible. No touching or swapping instruments would be allowed and any spectators would be told to immediately disperse.

Any gathering of more than 2 people, who aren't living together, is now breaking the law - as of last night. So this has to be a non starter, unfortunately.

The journey to the park could not be regarded as ‘essential’ either.
