[I'm learning how to use the DaVinci Resolve video editor. It's wonderful and complicated, and it's doing my head in!]

DaVinci Resolve video editor

I've been using Resolve to stabalize and colour grade morris dance footage. It has a generational advantage over most other free editors I've used previously when it comes to these areas, but, yeah, it really is a bit lot complicated! Glad to read someone else is using it, too.

I've got the DaVinci resolve, and its much too complicated for me. Any tips or links to tutorials are very welcome. On a side note, I think I'm playing on the Sailing by tune that precedes the shipping forecast. It was rerecorded around 1984-5 and the Beeb have not responded to my requests to know which version they use. It could be worth a Castagnari in airtime payments by now. Recorded, I seem to remember at Maida Vale, studio 2, with one of Chris Warren-Green's outfits - probably London Chamber Orchestra (if anyone here has connections in the BBC archive dept.)

You should be so lucky, but it would be a nice surprise, eh?

As far as I know, the intention was to replace the original with the new (1984) version. And certainly PPL payments for regular recordings do add up. The 3 tenors recordings have probably paid for one of my melodeons.

The subject of this thread made me think about very infectious tunes. "Delilah" has that quality. Please Clive, could try it for tune of the month?

Blackmagic does a course that's fairly good, but it tries my patience because it teaches more complicated stuff than I need.
