Keyboard layout uploads
« on: April 15, 2020, 03:05:07 PM »

Is there any way to open up the keyboard layouts on the home page,  or move them to a forum format so that people can add missing layouts as and when they turn up?   People do upload them to the forum but they are scattered throughout the posts.  i have a few i could share created using Lester's very handy template..    May be worth splitting the area in to "Factory default" and "Custom"   just for the sake of clarity.

Theo and Clive can amend every part of the website and forum, but I think it is Lester who coordinates the various layouts. If you send him a new layout, I expect he will upload it for you.

Yes and you can post them here with a request that they be added.   Having said that we do try to limit the published layouts to those that are tried and tested and reasonably popular. So many people have made their own based on a particular repertoire and style that it’s probably not helpful to post them all.

So if you propose a new layout please make your case for it!  It should at the very least be tried and tested.  If you are devising a new layout for yourself then it would be more appropriate to post that as a topic for discussions on the forum.

A couple which people may find useful and are not currently there.  Am fairly sure these are both standard Hohner layouts but if someone could give the three row the once over it would be useful (this particular box had been seriously mucked about with)
19+2 CF Club Modell 1
3 row "Pre Corona"  Bb Eb Ab
